CREFC Europe, the trade association for the real estate finance industry, has appointed Alison Lambert, chief financial officer at Martley Capital Group, as its new chair, Green Street News can reveal.

Lambert replaces Nassar Hussain of Brookland, who will remain on the board. She will serve for two years, after the chair’s tenure was extended from its original one-year period.

The incoming chair said: “CREFC Europe is becoming the reference for real estate lenders and the real estate finance market. CREFC is communicating with policymakers and regulators, an essential role given the challenges and opportunities in the real estate finance markets we have seen over the past two years and will continue to see. It is good to see the membership of CREFC Europe growing, and the organisation really becoming the collective voice of the real estate finance industry.”

Meanwhile, Michela Hancock, managing director at Greystar, has been elected to a three-year term as a CREFC Europe director. She has been actively involved with CREFC Europe since 2016, including as a member of the board of advisers in recent years. To read the original story click here.
