Martley Capital Group, the new real estate investment platform founded by well known real estate entrepreneur Richard Croft, has moved its headquarters to the Rookery Building in London’s Midtown, taking 4,200 square feet on the fourth floor on a five-year lease.
The Rookery sits within Congress House, a Grade II* listed post-war modernist construction purpose-built in Bloomsbury for the Trades Union Congress which opened in 1958 and has remained its London headquarters ever since.
“This is another milestone for the company since our launch in December,” said Croft, chief executive of Martley Capital.
“I would like to say a massive thank you to Robert Riley at Gryphon Property Partners for making this happen and to the team at Farebrother which acted for the landlord.”
Martley Capital Group launched in December 2023 with more than 40 staff, five offices across the UK and Europe and circa £900 million in assets under management across 19 mandates. The business has launched several new strategies, with an opportunistic and value-add focus, covering credit, equities and direct real estate, to take advantage of current dislocation in the real estate markets.
Prior to founding Martley Capital Group in December 2023, Croft was the founder and executive chairman of M7 Real Estate, the €7 billion pan-European real estate asset manager that was sold to Oxford Properties in 2021. To read the original story click here.
